About Me
I’ve always loved books. So much so that by the time I was five, I was reading at a sixth-grade level. I wanted to learn how to write from an early age, but I had no one to teach me. So I taught myself by writing my own versions of my favorite books because it was all I had at the time, and I yearned to put words on the page. I learned a lot about writing using this technique, and as I got older, I created characters and stories of my own. Many of them have since been destroyed, but I’ve worked bits and pieces of the old material into what I’m writing now.
I lived in Northern Idaho for four years, which later became the location for the Dresdencline series. I let my childhood memories of the place shape the world I created, yearning to bring everything to life in a brand-new way. I want others to feel transported to a new world through my books, and I hope they will become a light in the darkness for all my readers.
